WoW! Yesterday was one freaking fun day for me. It was a great hard workout as well as very effective. I was doing alot of movements that will help me with my push-ups and sit ups. One of the only things I need to work on now is getting my breathing under control when I’m running. I keep wanting to breath in and out through my mouth, which is a big No No! That will cause me to dehydrate faster and pass out. If I did that in a combat zone, I’d be shot dead by enemy.
Today I worked out with SGT Cleghorn, who was with the 10th Mtn. He’s a great guy and is fun to work out with. He’s has a kind of high impact way to doing P.T. This will be a good change so my body won’t get acustom to SGT Giron’s way. I taped and weighed today and I’m currently at 317lbs. I’ve lost a total of 40 lbs working out with SGT Giron since June. I can’t wait til I can leave for B.C.T. since I’ll be dropping probably another 40 lbs of fat while I’m there.
I can tell that since the weather is getting colder it will be harder for me to sweat like I have been. This just means I’ll have to turn up the work outs. Tomorrow’s work out will be interesting since I wont be able to go to the station and work out :-(. My wife has to be at work at 0800. I’ll have to do my own work out here at home. So, I’m planning on doing my Ranger work out twice tomorrow and two more times on Friday. Hopefully come Saturday, I’ll be doing great at our boot camp. I hate missing work outs with my recruiter. But, since Joyce, a former co-worker of mind and a current co-worker with my wife, will be out tomorrow I don’t have a choice. Next week will be tough since Joyce will be gone all week recovering from her Lap-band surgery. I hope that she has a speedy recovery and that the lap-band works great for her. I hope that one day I can talk my wife into getting the surgery done, too.
